UF Health pediatric surgeons are fellowship-trained in the care of infants and children who require surgical attention. The American Board of Surgery has a special certification for surgeons who have undertaken this sub-specialty training.

The University of Florida department of surgery's division of pediatric surgery is the tertiary referral center for all of Florida and the surrounding states. In addition, we are also happy to see international patients. UF health pediatric surgeons care for patients at UF Health Shands Children's Hospital and the UF Health Children's Surgical Center, both located in Gainesville, Florida.

We care for children of all ages, from the tiniest newborns to growing adolescents. From simple to complex surgical needs, your child's well-being is our priority.
